Infrastructure assessment

An assessment of the systems you already run.

Not a new diagram. We write how work moves through the identity, the network, and the platforms you have, and where a person is bridging a gap by hand.

When to ask for one

After a merger, an acquisition, or a cutover. A second site running a second week. Leadership and the floor disagree. The invoice and the tools have drifted.

Task us with the stuck path, and the system it depends on. Transition is the same work after a deal or a cutover.

What we look at

We look at identity, network, and platforms. Tools, access, and records. What the stack costs. One standard at every site, with room for what is truly local.

We join what you already use. We replace a system only when the record cannot carry the work. A second platform on the same job is a finding, not a shopping list.

Walk one job

You task us with one job: an order, a ticket, a hire, a change. We walk the path, including the side path the official process omits.

  • Where the request starts, and which system records it.
  • Who touches it, and who believes they own the outcome.
  • Which step is done by hand because two systems disagree.
  • What access that step requires, and whether it is shared.
  • What would stop if that system were down tomorrow, and who would notice.
  • Which other product claims to record the same job.

That path is the assessment. A catalog of servers with no path is not. Blank answers are part of the finding. You do not fill them in first.

What you receive

You receive what is sound, what is split, and the order to join it. We scope the visit in writing first. You keep the owners, the cadence, and the record.

The map is the path people use. The name is the owner. We do not leave an unused diagram.

Cost on the same picture

A platform nobody owns still sends a bill. Seats for people who left, and a second tool on the same job, are findings. Cloud cost and reliability starts from the invoice and the failure.

Shared admin access with no owner is an infrastructure fact and an access fact. SecOps consulting starts from the control.

Contact

Task us with the system.

Task us with what changed, which path is stuck, and where a hire was about to cover the gap. We reply with a scoped visit, or we say it is not a fit.
