SecOps consulting
Security work that matches the operation.
Controls, access, and evidence should describe the operation the floor already runs. We make them match. No new department.
Why this search starts
An audit date. A questionnaire. A near miss. Alerts in different inboxes. Leadership hears one account. The floor lives another.
A person on a dashboard does not close the gap. We analyze how the operation moves, name what is split, and align it. Your people run it.
What is in scope
We review SOC 2 and PCI evidence against the controls in use. Identity and access sit in the same pass: who can reach customer data, money, and production. Onboarding, offboarding, and access review are in it.
Executives get one account. Not a separate security story. Systems is the wider pass. This pass starts from the control.
What we take first
You task us. We take this list. No packet to prepare.
- We name the systems that matter in a breach: customer data, payments, production, identity. One owner each.
- We record who has access. Shared, leftover, or unexplained.
- We record the last access review, and who signed it. No date is a finding.
- For SOC 2 or PCI, we walk one control against the path the work takes.
- We list vendors that hold data or can change a system, the cost, and the owner.
- We mark where two products disagree about the same person or the same job.
We scope the first visit in writing before it is scheduled. The method is map, name, join, prove, leave.
Where AI fits
We put AI on a step people already do, such as collecting evidence they already produce. We review the exposure and the cost. A model that needs its own team is not a control.
If the evidence is wrong, collecting it faster keeps it wrong. We align the path first.
What this is not
Not a security operations center. Not a retainer that takes the keyboard in an active breach. Say so in the note. We will say if this is not the fit.
Readiness your team can run is a separate page: incident response readiness. Same method. We do not quote a response time. We do not sell one.
What you leave with
You receive the account: what is sound, what is split, the sequence to join it. Procedures, owners, and the record stay with you. We leave when your team can run the cadence.
